Legal Limits Charters
is USCG approved for a maximum of six passengers. Fishing licenses
are not necessary for your fishing or scalloping charter. I
encourage you to pack a cooler with something to eat and whatever
beverages you would enjoy, CANS PLEASE (No Glass Is Allowed On
Board). I also recommend bringing sun screen, a hat and sun
glasses, the boat does have a covered fishing area but the Florida sun
will still be intense.
On Fishing Charters
all fishing tackle will be provided for your use
along with bait and extra tackle. Guests are welcome to bring
their favorite equipment; I recommend nothing less than 60# line.
Absolutely No Electronic Navigation Devises are
allowed on board!! Charter rates do
not include cleaning of days catch; cleaning services are available at
the marina.
On Scallop Charters
all necessary collection coolers and ice will be
provided. Guests must bring their own towels and swimming gear
(masks, snorkels, fins and collection bags). Charter rates do not
include the cleaning of collected scallops; cleaning services are
available at the marina and around Steinhatchee.
Lodging is
available around the Steinhatchee area. For comfort and
convenience I recommend the accommodations Sea Hag Marina has to offer.
